Feedback - Sharing Good Practice

In late 2008 and early 2009 the Teaching and Learning Unit explored student feedback practice in a number of subjects which performed consistently well over several years on the Quality of Teaching survey feedback item. The outcome of our exploration was the discovery of diverse and inventive approaches to feedback across Departments, in postgraduate and undergraduate subjects, in subjects with very large enrollments and smaller enrollments, and in a variety of disciplines.

The purpose of this website is to introduce the feedback practices developed by a number of your Faculty colleagues. Our hope is that the video clips below will support conversations about, and planning for, incorporating a variety of feedback practices into learning and teaching designs. Links to a number of other feedback resources are accessible via the Print Resources and Online Resources links.

The TLU is grateful for the time committed by those teachers who contributed to our project and for their willingness to readily share their teaching stories.
