Peer Writing Tutor
The peer writing program gives you the opportunity to talk to another student about your writing. The tutors in the peer writing program are students who are good writers and are available to help you with the more straightforward questions that you may have about your writing.
The peer writing program can be accessed in two ways. The first is through individual tutorials. The peer writing tutors are available at set times throughout the week. It is not necessary to make an appointment. The tutors can also be contacted online. The sorts of questions that you might ask a peer writing tutor are about:
- Citing and referencing
- Grammar
- Whether the essay flows or makes sense
- Whether your introduction and conclusion are clear
Please note that the tutor will not help you with content and will not tell you if you are correct or not. They will not re-write any of your work for you or substantially alter your writing.
