Assignment Tool

This tool allows academics to configure online assessment tasks for their subjects so that students can submit assignments electronically by uploading a file and/or submitting text.

The Assignment Tool consists of three core functions:

• To accept individual assignment submissions
• To accept group assignment submissions
• To allow student groups to provide an online journal throughout the semester

Academics can configure each assignment individually to accept file submissions (e.g. Word or Excel files) and/or text submissions. Each assignment can also be configured to contain multiple parts, with each part being a text/HTML submission or file upload.
