Assignment Tool

The Commerce Student Centre Assignment Tool is the Faculty of Economics and Commerce’s standard mechanism for assignment submission. The Assignment Tool allows students to submit assignments online via your LMS subject page.

The original version of the Assignment Tool was first used in the Faculty of Economics and Commerce in Semester 1, 2006. A significantly enhanced version of the Assignment Tool was released in Semester 1, 2008, and is now supported by the Commerce Student Centre.

The Assignment Tool allows your students to submit assignment(s) to their lecturer online, off campus or from any of the student access labs on campus. Use of the Assignment Tool is mandatory, so all assignments in the Faculty of Economics and Commerce must be submitted using the Assignment Tool.

The Academic Administrator component of the Assignment Tool gives you control over the management of your assignments during semester, and allows you to access real-time submission information. Using the Academic Administrator, you can view a list of existing assignments, add and update assignments for your subject(s), generate submission reports, download assignments, and provide extensions.
