Lectopia (Audio streaming)Using Lectopia allows students to download and listen to audio recordings of each lecture from your LMS subject homepage. The audio recordings are usually made available to students 1-2 days after each lecture via a Web page. Lectopia is a University-provided service, with support provided to staff in Economics and Commerce by the TLU. Lectopia is available during Semesters 1 and 2, and the summer and winter intensive semesters. Note that Lectopia can also be used to record public lectures, seminar proceedings, guest lectures, and individual presentations. To record your lectures, you must complete the online Lectopia booking form, preferably at least five working days prior to the first lecture or scheduled event. The Lectopia booking form can be found here: http://www.infodiv.unimelb.edu.au/tss/lectopia/audiocapture-booking.html. If you are teaching in a lecture theatre that is not Lectopia equipped, the TLU can supply you with a personal recording device. The device needs to be collected before the lecture and returned afterwards so the recording can be encoded and uploaded onto the Lectopia Web page for your subject. If you require assistance when configuring Lectopia or help in addressing technical issues during the semester, please contact Jenny Pesina on 8344 3460 or email: jpesina@unimelb.edu.au. |
