Create a Banner

This page allows you to dynamically construct a banner which you can then upload into your LMS subject page. Once uploaded, the banner will appear at the top of the Announcements page. A banner further distinguishes your subject page from others, helps students to identify your subject page, and adds visual appeal to your subject page.

To create your banner:

1. Type the code and name of your subject, as you want it to appear on the banner, into the Subject field.
2. Select an appropriate font size. Note that the default font size is 22. This should suit most subjects, however, if your subject has an especially long or short name, you may want to decrease or increase the font size as needed by selecting another size from the drop-down list.
3. Select your department.
4. Click on Generate. Several banners will be generated, from which you can choose one to upload to your subject page.
